The boys met at the school flagpole at 08.00. The GCSE results for the Year 11 boys had been received and were handed out when they were all together.

Tim Whitwham had been at the hospital for most of the night with an acute eye infection. He had a second appointment this morning so Judi, Steve & the boys set off into the city centre with Ruth Hay. We caught a Cat to the centre where the boys spent a couple of hours spending their money !

Whilst we were doing this, Liz Bryant flew off to Cairns for a bit of sightseeing at the Barrier Reef. We meet up with her again on Sunday.

We returned to Churchie to take the bus to the Sunshine Coast and Immanuel School at midday. We arrived at Immanuel to find that most of the billets were girls - to the boys delight !
